PORT HURON, Mich. – A 19-year-old man was critically injured after falling while skateboarding in Port Huron.

It happened Thursday, May 9, just before midnight on 24th Street, near Vine Street. Police said a 19-year-old resident from Port Huron was holding onto a vehicle while skateboarding when he fell and struck the pavement.

He was rushed to McLaren Macomb Hospital with several facial and skull fractures.

The driver of the vehicle he held onto is cooperating with the police.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Port Huron Police Department at 810-984-8415.
